Ambassadors, Embassies Extend Easter Best Wish to Ethiopian Christians

Addis Ababa: Ambassadors of various countries and Embassies based in Addis Ababa have extended Eater best wish message to Ethiopian Christians Followers of the Christian faith in Ethiopia are celebrating Easter (Fasika) across the nation today. Easter is celebrated by Ethiopian Christian followers after 55 days of fasting Ethiopian Easter is celebrated to commemorate the resurrection Jesus Christ. Members of the diplomatic community in Addis Ababa are extending best wishes to Ethiopian Christians on the celebration of Easter. Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Yevgeny Terekhin, Ambassador of Djibouti, Abdi Mahamoud Eybe and ambassador of Denmark to Ethiopia Kira Smith expressed their best wishes. The Embassies of US, Israel, United Kingdom, Iran, Pakistan, Australia, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Burundi, Eritrea among others have expressed best wishes to all Ethiopian Christians on the celebration of Easter.
