Asmara: The Ministry of Information has successfully completed a three-month training program aimed at enhancing the skills of 29 members from its ranks, along with participants from the human resources management division of the Ministry of Agriculture. The focus of the training was on video camera operation, graphics, sound, and other media-related skills. According to African Press Organization, the initiative is part of a broader strategy by the Ministry of Information to boost the capabilities of its members and partner institutions. The goal is to advance media development by improving the quality of media technology. The training encompassed theoretical and practical sessions covering video editing, graphics, sound, color, and presentation, as well as fostering creativity and innovation. Mr. Abdulahi Damer, who heads human resources development at the Ministry, highlighted that the training leveraged internal capacity to deliver its curriculum. Meanwhile, a representative of the trainees expressed th eir commitment to contributing to media development efforts using the skills acquired during the program. In recognition of their achievements, Mr. Asmelash Abraha, Director General of Television, awarded certificates to all trainees and presented a special award to those who excelled in the program.
