Kumbo:Gendarmes arrest soldier selling bullets, military fatigue

On May 26, 2024, Gendarmes in Kumbo, in the North West region, arrested Dissangou Atemga Sphesien, for selling miliatry fatigues and war ammunitions of varioud calibers. Identified as a member of the 51st Support Battalin in Kumbo, the soldier with matricule T19/38741 was arrssted alongisde an accomplice with whom they carried out the illegal act. It was not revealed to whom he waselling the ammunitions. Kumbo is a hot spot in Bui division where Separatist attacks against State forces have not reduced since 2017 when the conflict started.
