Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Jemal Beker discussed with Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Solangi on matters of mutual interest including bilateral cooperation such as information and broadcasting. Ambassador Jemal expressed keen interest in initiating a process for collaboration between the state broadcasters of the two countries to exchange information and promote culture and tourism, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The minister for Information and Broadcasting on his part lauded the economic progress Ethiopia achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, and proposed different initiatives for strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in media industry.
