Addis Ababa: Pakistani giant pharmaceutical company, Macter International limited, showing interest to engage in the pharmaceutical sector in Ethiopia's Kilinto Industrial Park. Industrial Parks Development Corporation CEO Aklilu Tadesse held a discussion with President of Macter International limited, Shahnawaz Sajid, On the occasion, the CEO briefed the president about the great attention given by the government to the pharmaceutical sector and explained the fiscal and non-fiscal incentives. He elaborated the ideas related to infrastructures provided by the corporation to the sector as well as the investment services. Apart from the discussion, the company's president, Shahnawaz Sajid visited the infrastructure and current production activities of Kilinto Industrial Park. Macter International limited is a giant pharmaceutical based in Pakistan with over 40 years of experience working with international partners and has a market for its products in Asia, Africa, United Arab Emirates and other countries of the world. The government of Ethiopia has established 13 industrial parks specialized in various manufacturing sectors including textile, agro-processing and pharmaceuticals.
