By Charity Nginyu On Monday, May 6, 2024, the town of Kribi was rocked by tragedy as the lifeless body of a child was discovered following the aftermath of a torrential downpour. The child, whose identity remains undisclosed reports say was tragically swept away by the relentless currents of rainwater that inundated the streets of the seaside city. Following the child's disappearance, intense search efforts ensued, with locals tirelessly scouring the area in a desperate attempt to locate the missing child. Sources revealed that it was Mael Nzie, a local of the said neighborhood who made the sad discovery. Nzie reportedly stumbled upon the child before alerting other locals. Despite the valiant efforts of emergency responders who rushed the child to the hospital in a bid to save his life, it was tragically too late.
