Addis Ababa: Ethiopia's Ambassador to India, Demeke Atnafu has invited Indian investors to engage in various fields in Ethiopia, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ambassador addressed the 6th Global Business Leadership Forum in Mumbai which was organized by the Asian-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He pointed out the ample investment opportunities in the agriculture, manufacturing, mining, ITC, and tourism sectors across the country. He then invited companies which took part at the event to invest in Ethiopia, stating that India is the second source of import and second largest investor for Ethiopia. The event presented the Global Business Leadership Award to leaders from various sectors of the economy, philanthropists, innovators, film actors, actresses, and musicians.
