The Director of the Bamenda Regional Hospital Dr. Denis Nsane, recently sent a statement calling on locals to come to the hospital and identify the faces of corpses that were deposited at the hospital's mortuary. The longest duration shows that a corpse was deposited for close to three months without any family member knowing the whereabouts. One of the corpses in a poor state was deposited by a member of the Rapid Intervention Battalion, BIR. The Director said of the bodies are not retrieved by the end of December 2023, they will take measures to dsipose them. Source: Cameroon News Agency
