Eritrean Community Festival Unites Nationals Across Canada and the US

Edmonton: The Eritrean Community Festival in Western Canada recently drew attendees from various Canadian cities, including Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Regina, and Toronto, along with participants from several cities across the United States. The festival showcased cultural and artistic performances, sports competitions, and exhibitions by members of the Red Flowers. According to African Press Organization, the Eritrean community festival has a rich history spanning about 40 years. Mr. Okbai Tesfaselasie, Chairman of the Holidays Coordinating Committee, emphasized that the festival originated from a clear vision and love for the country, becoming a significant cultural heritage for Eritreans. During the event, Mr. Elias Amare, the guest of honor, presented a seminar to the participants. His seminar covered the objective situation in Eritrea, and touched upon regional and global developments, providing attendees with insights into current affairs.
