Asmara: The National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students recently concluded an extensive social science training program for over 3,836 junior and high school students in the Central Region. The program, which included 60% female participants, aimed to enhance the awareness and organizational capacity of the youth.
According to African Press Organization, the concluding event took place at Cinema Roma in Asmara on 32 May. The training covered a variety of topics, including nation and nationalism, youth and national service, the pillars of the National Charter, information technology, the meaning of ideology, political concepts and religious philosophy, and the history of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students.
Mr. Samson Kifle, head of the Union branch, highlighted the collaboration with partners in this initiative. The effort is part of the Union's ongoing commitment to empower young people and build their capacity for future leadership roles.
