Tour to Developmental and Historical Sites Conducted by PFDJ Members

Massawa: Members of the PFDJ in the Southern Region conducted a three-day tour to developmental and historical sites in the Northern Red Sea Region. During this tour, they explored significant locations contributing to the region's development and cultural preservation.

According to African Press Organization, the tour included visits to the Gahtelay Dam, where construction is nearly complete with 98% finalized. The group also visited Massawa Airport, which has been constructed using internal capacity. Additionally, they toured a plastic and tin factory in Massawa and the port, receiving briefings from managers and experts about the objectives and future plans of these institutions.

The group also visited historical and military sites, including Dese Island, the Naval Base in Gedem, and the Northern Red Sea Museum, gaining insights into the region's strategic and cultural heritage.
