Zondoma’s New Graduates Embark on Patriotic Immersion to Ouahigouya

Zondoma: New high school graduates from Zondoma province embarked on a journey to Ouahigouya for a patriotic immersion program. Before departure, they received guidance from the High Commissioner, Aboubacar Sidiki Nab©, who emphasized their role as representatives of the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, out of 473 students who passed the 2025 baccalaureate session, 451 are participating in the compulsory program initiated by the authorities. The program, taking place in the city of Naaba Kango, aims to instill values such as national identity, patriotism, and civic responsibility over a month.

High Commissioner Nab© encouraged the graduates to heed their supervisors and maintain discipline during the immersion. He assured them that the experience would enhance their understanding of national issues and contribute to their personal and social development.

Romaric K. Som©, a parent, expressed support for the initiative, highlighting its potential to aid in the socialization and future integration of young people into university life. The government established this compulsory patriotic immersion on May 2, 2025, to foster civic and patriotic education among new graduates across the country.
