Asmara: The National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) central office has organized a vocational training program for its members in the Northern Red Sea Region. The training aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of the members in several key areas related to their professional responsibilities.
According to African Press Organization, Ms. Zaid Mesfun, head of administration and finance of the union, stated that the training encompassed both theoretical and practical aspects. The program covered various topics including finance administration, documentation, human resources management, material administration, and reporting.
Ms. Zaid emphasized the importance of applying the acquired knowledge in the trainees’ daily activities at their workplaces. She also mentioned that similar training programs are planned to continue in the future, reflecting the union’s commitment to the professional development of its members.
