The People's Rights Advocacy Platform (PRAP) has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack in Bamenda, North West region. The attack, allegedly carried out by the Ambazonia Defense Forces (ADF), targeted innocent civilians in the Nkwen Market area. PRAP described the attack as a 'reprehensible act of terrorism' aimed at generating fear and enforcing an unjust lockdown. The organisation emphasised that such violence is unacceptable and violates the fundamental rights of civilians. In a statement, PRAP called for an immediate cessation of hostilities and urged all parties involved to prioritise dialogue and peaceful conflict resolution. The organisation led by former ADF Commander, Capo Daniel, also expressed solidarity with the victims of the attack and their families. Source: Cameroon News Agency
