Nahouri: The populations of the village of Narguia, a village in the commune of Ziou, located on the border with Ghana, have been mobilized since Friday, August 1, 2025, to build a crossing structure in an advanced state of degradation.
According to Burkina Information Agency, for two weeks, elderly people, young people, and women from the village of Narguia, in the commune of Ziou, at the call of the resource persons of the said village, mobilized as one man to build a crossing structure approximately 200 meters away in a very advanced state of degradation.
"During the rainy season, our different villages are cut off from each other and from some villages in neighboring Ghana. Also, the current dynamic of the country's highest authorities invites each Burkinabe to develop endogenous initiatives, expecting the government to react," said the president of the Village Development Council (CVD) of Narguia, Soanga Dagwin©.
For him, for two weeks, "we have been mobilizing to make this route accessible for the happiness of the populations of the two brother countries."
As a grievance, the people of Narguia pleaded with the highest authorities for the opening up of this locality, which is conducive to trade with neighboring Ghana.
