K©n©dougou: The High Commissioner of the K©n©dougou province, Sadou Sakira, presided over the traditional rotating ceremony of raising the colors at the Diongolo Traor© provincial high school in Orodara on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, marking the beginning of the compulsory patriotic immersion of the province's high school graduates. He invited them to make the most of this decisive step.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony took place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the Diongolo Traor© provincial high school in the presence of the province's constituted bodies as well as the high school graduates admitted to the first edition of compulsory patriotic immersion.
On this occasion, blessings were said for the young graduates by the chief of the village of Orodara, His Majesty Massa Traor©, the Imam of the great mosque, S©kou Sangar©, and the priest of the parish of Notre-Dame d'Afrique, Father Evariste Sawadogo.
In his address, the High Commissioner of the province of K©n©dougou, Sadou Sakira, welcomed the strong mobilization of the various actors around this national initiative to anchor patriotic values among young people.
He encouraged the commitment of supervisors, trainers, and partners to the successful organization of this immersion. "You will be immersed in a new atmosphere. Feel comfortable. Let yourself be carried away by the experience. The trainers and supervisors are there to support you. Explore, discover, and immerse yourself in this session," Mr. Sakira told the graduates, inviting them to make the most of this decisive step.
