Doha: The Eritrean community in Qatar gathered in Doha for its 10th congress on 31 July, uniting under the theme "Together for a Bright Future." The event saw active participation from numerous nationals who joined to discuss and contribute to the development of their community and nation.
According to African Press Organization, Mr. Ali Ibrahim, Eritrea's Ambassador to Qatar, praised the community's involvement and contribution to national development programs. He emphasized the importance of enhancing organizational capacity and fostering mutual support among community members.
During the congress, participants engaged in extensive discussions about the activity report presented. They adopted various recommendations and outlined future programs. A new executive committee was also elected to lead the community's efforts moving forward.
Ambassador Ali Ibrahim acknowledged the active participation of attendees and urged them to support the newly elected executive committee in all its endeavors. He encouraged the committee to motivate nationals to increase their involvement in national affairs, reinforcing the commitment to collective growth and development.
