Eritrea Students Gain Practical Skills Through Vocational Training

Asmara: Vocational training programs have been successfully completed by 146 students at the College of Medicine and Science, including 90 female participants, as part of an initiative to enhance practical skills among students.

According to African Press Organization, the training programs, which lasted between three to five months, were integrated into the students' regular academic schedule. Mr. Abrhaley Asefaw, Head of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students at the college, explained that the training covered a range of subjects, including graphic design, sign language, Arabic language, electronics, and music.

Mr. Elias Teages, Director of Student Affairs, highlighted the practical benefits of the training. He encouraged students to leverage their newly acquired skills for personal growth and to contribute positively to their communities.
