Kassel: Mr. Kibreab Tekeste, Eritrea's Consul General in Frankfurt, Germany, led public seminars for nationals in Kassel and Hanover on 15 and 16 August. The seminars aimed to discuss the objective situation in Eritrea, regional and global developments, and the importance of conscious participation in fortifying national organizations. Additionally, the seminars covered the Afambo Boarding School project and consular services.
According to African Press Organization, Mr. Kibreab emphasized that while the world faces challenges such as war and a lack of peace, Eritrea remains focused on nation-building, maintaining unity and peace, and pursuing development despite efforts to derail it through smear campaigns. He highlighted the importance of persistent efforts to maintain the country's positive trajectory.
In a session titled "Conscious and Strong Public Participation in Strengthening Organizations," Mr. Teame Haile, Head of Public and Community Affairs, stressed that public involvement is crucial for establishing robust organizations. He asserted that nation-building is not solely the government's responsibility but also that of every citizen. Mr. Teame called for the bolstering of national organizations and heightened participation in national matters.
Participants of the seminars expressed their dedication to reinforcing national organizations and contributing to national affairs, demonstrating a collective commitment to Eritrea's development and unity.
