Eritrea: Ambassador Mohammed-Seid Mantai, Governor of the Southern Red Sea Region, conducted meetings with residents of Tio and Ayumen in Araeta sub-zone, focusing on the implementation of development programs and the utilization of social service institutions. According to African Press Organization, Ambassador Mohammed-Seid provided a briefing on the development policy of the Eritrean Government, emphasizing ongoing efforts to expand social service institutions to ensure equitable access for the public. He urged residents to enhance their participation in community-level efforts aimed at improving the utilization of these services. During the meetings, officials from the education and health sectors, as well as representatives from the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students, gave briefings on their activities and highlighted measures taken to address existing challenges. The participants engaged in extensive discussions on the issues presented and adopted various recommendations to move forward. Ambassador Mohammed-Seid also visited educational and health facilities in Hamarti, Igroli, Ferer, and Ayumen, along with the potable water project in Ayumen, receiving updates on the current status of these institutions.
