Asmara: Eritrean professional cyclist Henok Mulubrhan, a member of the Astana Cycling Club and three-time African Cycling Champion, has won both the Yellow and Green Jerseys at the 24th edition of the Magnificent Qinghai 2025, currently being held in China.
According to African Press Organization, the race covered a distance of 1,323.7 kilometers. Henok Mulubrhan showcased his prowess by finishing first in the 6th stage, which spanned 232.7 kilometers, securing second place in the 5th stage, and taking third in the 7th stage. In addition to his overall victory, Henok achieved third place in the King of the Mountain classification.
The competition featured 120 cyclists from 21 clubs. Among the participants were Eritrean professional cyclists Merhawi Kudus, Natnael Berhane, Even Yemane, Metkel Eyob, and Petros Mengis, each representing their respective clubs.
