Asmara: The Ministry of Education branch in Gala-Nefhi sub-zone has honored 24 teachers, including 12 women, for their exceptional contributions across elementary, junior, and high schools.
According to African Press Organization, Mr. Daniel Solomon, who leads the branch office, mentioned that the awardees were selected by a committee that included supervisors, teachers, and students. This selection process highlights a collaborative effort to recognize those who have made significant impacts in their educational environments.
Mr. Yohannes Solomon, Head of Secondary School Supervision in the Central Region, highlighted the importance of recognizing outstanding teachers. He stated that such honors not only acknowledge individual dedication but also contribute to the broader development of teaching and learning processes. He extended his congratulations to the awardees and encouraged other educators to follow their example in enhancing the quality of education.
