Addis Ababa: The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) has launched two projects that seek to enhance agricultural input and output market system. The projects officially launched today are the Development and Implementation of Digital Market Linkage Platform and the Automation of eVoucher 2.0. Speaking on the occasion, Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute Deputy Director-General Firew Tegegn said one of the duties of the institute is identifying challenges in the agricultural sector and finding solutions. And the digital projects unveiled today are part of the activities of the institute, he stated, adding that such efforts will be further reinforced. The projects are aimed at ensuring a sustainable market, providing better production and agricultural inputs distribution as well as providing up-to-date information on market ties. They will also enable farmers to provide products without any interference, in addition to strengthening the linkages between farmers and consumers o f agricultural products, it was learned.
