Addis Ababa: The 6th Irreechaa Peace Forum is underway in Addis Ababa under the theme 'Irreechaa: for Our Culture Renaissance." The celebrations Irreechaa will take place tomorrow at Hora Finfine in Addis Ababa, followed by Hora Arsedi in Bishoftu on Sunday. The festival brings together people from different walks of life, reinforcing bonds through shared traditions and experiences. The 6th Irreechaa Peace Forum is organized as part of this year's celebration of Irreechaa. Chief Administrator of Oromia Regional State Shimelis Abdisa, Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie, other high level government officials, diplomats, religious fathers, Abbaa Gadaas, and Haadha Sinqee are attending the forum. Irreechaa, thanksgiving holiday, is a vibrant celebration of the Oromo people in Ethiopia, transcends its traditional roots to embody joy, love, and prosperity. This annual festival, marking the end of the rainy season and the beginning of a new year, serves as a powerful reminder of the connection between natu re and community.
