Asmara: A total of 133 units of blood has been voluntarily donated in the Central Region to help replenish the blood supply of the National Blood Transfusion Service and save lives. The initiative saw participation from staff members across all branches of the Central Region administration, alongside members of the Bleqat association of veteran fighters. According to African Press Organization, participants in the program expressed a sense of spiritual satisfaction from their involvement in this life-saving initiative. They highlighted the importance of blood donation, which the body naturally replenishes, and urged others to follow their noble example.
