Solenzo: Sub-Lieutenant Niabo Nabie of the Water and Forestry Service has been officially installed as the Head of the Solenzo Departmental Water and Forestry Service. This ceremony took place in the Solenzo town hall meeting room, marking the end of Lieutenant Honore Koudougou’s three-year tenure as the head of the department.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the installation of Sub-Lieutenant Niabo Nabie was conducted by Marou Ilboudo, the Prefect and President of the Special Delegation of Solenzo. Mr. Nabie expressed his awareness of the responsibilities that accompany his new role and emphasized his commitment to addressing these tasks.
Mr. Nabie promised to engage with all agents and the population of Solenzo, ensuring transparent and collaborative management of daily operations. He aims to meet the challenges ahead and implement the ministry’s vision effectively.
The outgoing Head of Department, Lieutenant Honore Koudougou, reflected on his three-year leadership, highlighting successful reforestation campaigns that saw over one hundred thousand seedlings planted and the recovery of nearly 7 million CFA francs in revenues.
