Dubai: The Burkina Faso Cadet Stallions arrived early this Tuesday morning in Dubai to finalize the adjustments before the start of the World Cup in their category, on November 3 in Doha, we learned from the Burkinabe Football Federation FBF.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Cadet Stallions reached Dubai in the early hours of Tuesday, October 21, for their final training camp ahead of the World Cup. The FBF communications department confirmed that the Burkinabe U17 team will play three friendly matches before the tournament.
The team is set to face Panama on October 24, followed by matches against Venezuela on October 27 and Uzbekistan on October 29. These matches will serve as tests for the squad, after which the Etalons Cadets coach Oscar Barro will finalize the roster, reducing the team from 25 to 23 players.
The FIFA U17 World Cup is scheduled to take place from November 3 to 27 in Doha, Qatar.
