Koudougou: A Sanitation Operation Strengthens the Link Between Civilians and Defense Forces

Koudougou: A surge of civic solidarity enlivened the city of Koudougou this Thursday, with a clean-up and rehabilitation operation at the site of the Koudougou National Gendarmerie squadron. The initiative, which mobilized the city’s vital forces, aims to provide a clean and dignified working environment for the defense and security forces (FDS).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was instigated by the President of Faso’s mission officer for the Nando region, and supported by the squadron commander, Captain Aboubacar Compaore. Participants set about sweeping and cleaning the area. The objective was clear: to demonstrate, through concrete action, the collective will to build a strong nation. The participants, driven by a spirit of unity, illustrated the necessary synergy between the population and its institutions.

At the end of the operation, Captain Compaore expressed his gratitude. “This wonderful initiative demonstrates that it is together, hand in hand, that the country of upright men will be built into an El Dorado for all its daughters and sons,” he declared, verbally thanking the President’s mission officer, Mr. Neya, as well as all the active forces involved. This operation is an example of active citizen participation, strengthening the bond between the population and the defense forces with a common goal of security and dignity.
