Lord Collins of Highbury Commends Reform Efforts in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa: Ethiopia's Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shide met today with Lord Collins of Highbury, United Kingdom's Parliamentary Under-secretary of State for Africa and held productive discussion on the two countries' bilateral partnership. On the occasion, Ahmed briefed the UK Minister on the progress of the Government's economic reform implementation and highlighted the need for sustained support for pro-poor development interventions to ensure the success of the reforms. The UK Minister on his side, commended the reform efforts, encouraged the progress towards improving the business environment and assured continued development support of the UK to Ethiopia.
