Readiness to support projects of NAEWDV

At a meeting conducted on 29 October in Uppsala, the Sweden branch of the National Association of Eritrean War Disabled Veterans expressed readiness to support projects that are initiated by the national association.

The objective of the meeting that was conducted under the theme “Our Disabled Veterans from Expectant to Producers” was to ensure medical supply to Denden Camp Hospital.

At the meeting, Mr. Tekeste Fesehaye, chairman of the association branch and member of the Central Committee of the National Association of Eritrean War Disable Veterans, gave a detailed explanation of the activities of the associated branch in the past 28 years as well as future programs for this year.

Mr. Tekeste indicated that so far 32 containers carrying various medical equipment including medicines, sanitation materials, wheelchairs, beds, eyeglasses, and others have been sent to Eritrea in support of war-disabled veterans.

At the event, the nationals contributed over 50 thousand Kroner in support of the National Association of Eritrean War Disabled Veterans.
