Eritreans in Israel and the Northern Emirates celebrated the 30th Independence Day anniversary under the theme “Resilient-As Ever”. At the celebratory event held in Tel Aviv on 29 May featuring cultural and artistic performances, the participants renewed pledge to strengthen organizational capacity and contribution in the nationals development programs. Similarly, Eritrean nationals residing in Dubai and the Northern Emirates celebrated the 30th Independence Day anniversary on 27 May at the premises of the Eritrean Embassy.
Indicating that the Independence Day anniversary is being celebrated at the time in which Eritrea emerged victorious foiling the various hostilities and conspiracies, Mr. Osman Mohammed-Omar, Eritrean Ambassador in the United Arab Emirates, congratulated the Eritrean people and its Defense Forces. Mr. Abdulkadir Mohammed-Seid, chairman of the National Holidays Coordinating Committee on his part called for strengthening organizational capacity and participation in the national development drives.
