Nahouri: National road No. 25 (Neboun-Po axis) is in an advanced state of deterioration, following the recent rains, making traffic difficult, the AIB noted. The recent rainfall has damaged national road no. 25 (Neboun-Po axis), making traffic difficult and forcing users to make diversions.
According to Burkina Information Agency, former municipal councilor Arzouma Nacro, from the village of Vrou, bordering the national road 25, in the commune of Bieha, Sissilli province, indicated that if nothing is done, several crossing infrastructures will collapse. He mentioned the bridges of Vrou, Koumbo-Lapone, in Sissilli and Sougbare, in Ziro as particularly at risk.
"We mobilized the population to repair certain parts of the track that were hanging by a thread," said Mr. Nacro. The same story goes for the former municipal councilor of Koumbo, commune of Bieha, Bazouma Nacro. "The potholes have become large gaping holes in the middle of the road, forcing users to detour through fields to reach the other end," added the former municipal councilor of Koumbo.
As a reminder, national road No. 25 connects three regions, namely the region of Nando (Sissilli, Ziro), Nazinon (Guiaro, Po, T®ebele, Zecco and Ziou) and Nakambe (Zabre). Its paving has been the subject of complaints from the population at every meeting of the key players in the different localities it crosses.
