Ouagadougou: Legro Patakou pedals 200 km to support the FDS and the VDP .The artist Legro Patakou accomplished a feat last Sunday, by cycling 200 km, from Koudougou to Ouagadougou and back, in 24 hours, in order to magnify the Combatant Forces. This titanic challenge aimed to support the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in their fight to reconquer the national territory.

According to Burkina Information Agency, despite his lack of cycling experience, Legro Patakou braved the wind and rain to complete his journey. Upon returning to Koudougou, he was warmly welcomed by his friends, supporters, and local residents. He was accompanied by a small technical team consisting of a health worker, his assistant manager, and a mechanic.

The artist took the opportunity to provide concrete support. He handed over eight bags of rice, two cartons of soap, and two bags of soap powder to the H©rone du Centre-Ouest association, which brings together the wives of the FDS and VDP who fell in combat. The president of the special delegation of the commune of Koudougou, Am©d©e Par©, was present to congratulate Legro Patakou, calling him a leader and saluting his commitment: "Legro, that's what it means to be useful to your community. You are a leader, my congratulations."

It should be noted that upon his departure for Koudougou, in front of the Ouagadougou town hall, Legro was congratulated by Koudougou residents living in the capital, including Alexandre le Grand Rouamba de Ramongo. Legro Patakou is a multi-talented artist. His real name is Ratamongo Amado Ou©draogo, and he is a Burkinabe comedian and singer. In addition to being a modern town crier, Legro also works as a public and commercial entertainer.
