The SDO of Mfoundi, Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent, on Modnay revealed that 21 students have been hospitalized with no major injuries. 'There was no death recorded' he reiterated. 'It is normal process that every Monday, the school sings National Anthem. At the end of this, those who were outside wanted to enter in multitude pushing those on their way.' The SDO said. He also added that they will make use of CCTV cameras and arrest those whom he described as external person who vandalised the Principal's car. Several students were carried by their colleagues after chaos erupted early Monday. They forced the gate opened to get into the school campus of GBHS Etoug-ebe in Yaounde. The SDO said they suspect that some students who took part in vandalising the car were victims of Thursday's disciplinary Committee actions against them. Source: Cameroon News Agency
