Tsaeda Emba water project inaugurated

Asmara, Water project worth two-million Nakfa put in place in Tsaeda Emba, Berik sub zone, was inaugurated on 29 September.

At the inauguration ceremony, the administrator of Berik sub zone stating that the project will enable residents get water in their nearby area, commended the administration of the Central region, stakeholders and residents for their efforts and contribution in finalizing the project.

Mr. Hailemicael Eyob, D.G. of Agriculture and Land in the Central region on his part congratulating the residents of Tsaeda Emba called on them to properly use the solar powered water project for a long lasting.

Indicating that they were using drinking water from the dam alongside their livestock, residents on their part expressed appreciation for the timely implementation of the potable water project in their area and expressed conviction to properly protect it.

The solar powered Tsaeda Emba water project includes a reservoir and five water distribution centers.

Tsaeda Emba administrative area is resident to four thousand people.
