Kampti: Teachers from the Kampti Basic Education District (CEB), alongside their peers from various regions in Burkina Faso, have embarked on their annual educational conference, which commenced this Wednesday and is set to span four days. The conference is centered around the theme: “Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations.”
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Head of the Kampti Basic Education District (CCEB), Siaka Nawara Gnoumou, expressed his satisfaction with the initiation of this conference. He emphasized that the event provides an essential platform for the exchange and sharing of educational experiences. Gnoumou assured that all necessary arrangements are in place for the successful conduct of the conference, including the availability of the town hall meeting room for the duration of the event. He encouraged teachers to fully engage in the proceedings to enhance the quality of learning within local schools.
The official opening was conducted by the first vice-president of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Kampti, Bebe Kambire, who represented the PDS and delivered a message from the Minister in charge of National Education. Kambire urged participants to persist in their efforts to foster patriotism and commitment to national service.
Mr. Kambire also highlighted that October, marked as a month for patriotic commitment and civic participation, should be used as a time for reflection and action to bolster the fight against ignorance, which poses a significant barrier to development.
The educational conference will continue until October 18, 2025.
