Tansila Citizen Watch Supports Peace Efforts with 1,000,000 CFA Francs


Tansila: The citizen watch of the rural commune of Tansila, located 55 km from Solenzo, contributed one million CFA francs to support the peace effort in Burkina Faso. The money was deposited in the Public Treasury on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and yesterday, Saturday, September 20, 2025, the president of the special delegation of the said commune, Mamadou Coulibaly, handed over the deposit receipt to the president of the citizen watch, Sangoana Dioma, in the presence of the population.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Sangoana Dioma, communal president of the Tansila citizen watch, explained that the donation was made to support the peace effort amidst the equipment arriving in the country. The goal is to back President Captain Ibrahim Traore in transforming Burkina Faso into a prosperous nation. Dioma emphasized that the initiative was made possible through the mobilization of the population and residents of Tansila.



Following the handover of the receipt, the citizen watch launched a new call for contributions to support the FDS and the VDP in their mission to combat terrorism. Mamadou Coulibaly, the PDS, urged the people of Tansila to foster greater cohesion and understanding to make Tansila an admirable destination.
