On June 9, 2022, Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Xue Bing held a collective meeting with diplomatic envoys of Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, Uganda, Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan and other countries in the Horn of Africa region to China, and briefed on his previous visits to countries in the region. The two sides also exchanged views on the implementation of the “Initiative of Peaceful Development in the Horn of Africa”.
