Mouhoun: The special delegation of the commune of Bondokuy held its third ordinary session this Tuesday, September 16, 2025, focused on the examination and adoption of several key files, including the amending budget No. 2 of 56,487,769 CFA francs, which was adopted unanimously.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the session began with the reading of the minutes from the second ordinary session by the secretary general of the town hall, which was subsequently adopted after amendment. The town hall accountant presented the second amended budget, highlighting achievements such as the renovation of the Tia Health and Social Promotion Centre (CSPS) and the construction of tables, benches, and desks for teachers. The budget was considered consistent with the municipality’s priorities and received unanimous approval.
Under miscellaneous items, Lazare Bado, President of the special delegation (PDS), invited ex-officio members to share information of communal interest. Discussions included the assignment of the Bondokuy District Police Commissioner, consultation between education stakeholders and resource persons from the villages of Bondokuy and Dampan regarding changing the name of Bondokuy Primary School “C” to Dampan Primary School “B”, and concerns about hygiene, particularly the maintenance of toilets at the bus station.
This session demonstrated the special delegation’s commitment to conducting municipal management with rigor, transparency, and consultation, aiming to effectively meet the expectations of the population and promote local development.
