Oudalan: Ministers Nandy Somé Diallo and Amadou Dicko urge resilience

The Minister of Humanitarian Action, Nandy Somé Diallo, and his counterpart delegated to Animal Resources, Doctor Amadou Dicko, were hosts to the populations of the province of Oudalan in order to inform them on the national situation, discuss with them their concerns and encourage them to be resilient in the face of the security situation prevailing in the Sahel region.

In their meeting with the vital forces of Gorom-Gorom, the two ministers said they came to inform them about the national situation, provide the government’s support and comfort to the populations and collect their concerns. They urged the populations of the province to show resilience in the face of insecurity and its harmful effects.

In response to the guests of the day, the vital forces of the province of Oudalan expressed their gratitude to the government for this initiative. They added that their concerns include, among others, securing national road No. 3 (Ouagadougou-Kaya-Dori-Gorom-Gorom-Markoye), strengthening security to allow in
ternally displaced persons to return to their localities, as well as promoting employment for youth and women.
