Lieutenant Kore Bernard Yaro Assumes Role as Intendant of the Presidency of Faso


Ouagadougou: The Minister Director of Cabinet of the President of Faso, Captain Martha Celeste Anderson Dekomwin Medah, presided over the handover ceremony on Monday, officially installing Lieutenant Kore Bernard Yaro as the new Intendant of the Presidency of Faso. Lieutenant Yaro takes over from Captain Phillipe Somda, who has completed his tenure.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Lieutenant Yaro expressed his gratitude to the nation’s highest authorities for entrusting him with this significant responsibility. He emphasized his commitment to maintaining current achievements and enhancing management practices through collaboration and unity. “The management that I intend to establish will be placed under the sign of collaboration, self-sacrifice, and availability of each person, so that the Intendance of the Presidency of Faso can continue to play its essential role of support to the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, in his noble mission for a free, united, and prosperous Burkina Faso,” Yaro stated.



Captain Phillipe Somda, the outgoing Intendant, reflected on the challenges faced during his tenure and the efforts made to address them. He advised his successor to lead with courage and in alignment with the directives of the Head of State, underscoring the importance of being a competent manager. “My lieutenant, never be mistaken about the fact that your first mission is to follow the directions of His Excellency the Head of State,” he advised.



Captain Martha Celeste Anderson Dekomwin Medah, while installing Lieutenant Yaro, encouraged him to learn from his predecessor and focus on self-sacrifice and dedication in his work.
