Nouna: The Secretary General of Koosin Province, Firmin Bassole, representing the High Commissioner, installed, this Thursday, September 18, 2025 in Nouna, the principal treasurer of the province, the treasury inspector, Brahima Sigriyouma. He pledged to promote virtuous governance within the Koosin provincial treasury.
According to Burkina Information Agency, appointed by the Council of Ministers on March 12, 2025, as Chief Treasurer of the Koosin Province, Treasury Inspector Brahima Sigriyouma was installed in his duties this Thursday, September 18, 2025 in the presence of the Regional Director of the Treasury of the Sourou and Bankui Region, Sokiere Hien and the directors and heads of department.
The new provincial treasurer said he was aware of the magnitude of the tasks entrusted to him and the weight of the responsibilities because expectations are high. “I am committed to promoting virtuous governance within the Koosin provincial treasury,” declared Brahima Sigriyouma.
The accountability process was carried out by the Treasury Inspector-Verifier, Abel Kabore, accompanied by the authorized representative, Siaka Ouattara, in accordance with the rules of ethics and professional conduct that govern public accounts.
The outgoing Treasury inspector, Stephane Traore, thanked his colleagues for the work accomplished, while hoping for better support for the new provincial treasurer. The general secretary of the province of Koosin, Firmin Bassole, called for an effective presence alongside the resilient population.
