Koosin: In a collaborative effort initiated by the citizen watch, residents of Yallo in the commune of Bomborokuy actively participated in cleaning the edges of National Road 14. The initiative took place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with the aim of enhancing visibility for road users.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the operation involved a tree-cutting exercise carried out on the same day. Volunteers, armed with shovels and chainsaws, worked diligently to clear the track’s edges. This effort is part of a broader initiative to improve visibility and minimize risks for travelers on the road.
An elderly participant emphasized the importance of such activities, stating, “The safety of users also depends on regular maintenance of roadside areas.” The community-driven initiative highlights the crucial role of local involvement in maintaining and improving public infrastructure.
