Ioba: PDS Calls for Greater Public Mobilization to Support National Dynamic


Ouagadougou: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Zambo, Tassere Badini, urged the population to mobilize more to support the national dynamic during a ceremony to raise the national colors at the general education college (CEG) of Djikologo on Thursday, October 16.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony, presided over by the PDS of Zambo, is part of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). It took place in the presence of the chief of the village of Djikologo, staff and students of the CEG, parents of students as well as agents of the combat unit of the Water and Forests of the locality.



Following the military ceremony, the PDS of the commune of Zambo read the speech of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. His message focused on values such as patriotism, national sovereignty, and collective responsibility.



The PDS invited every citizen to take ownership of these values through concrete actions with a view to breaking with all forms of dependence and imperialism. Mr. Badini also praised the efforts of the fighting forces engaged in the return of peace.



As a reminder, several activities have been initiated and carried out by the special delegation of Zambo since the launch of the second phase of the JEPPC.
