Gourma: The provincial directorate in charge of Sport launched the sports and leisure season this Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Fada N’Gourma, marking the first edition of the sports and leisure back-to-school season. The event was held under the theme: “Sport and leisure for all, a factor of cohesion for the well-being of the resilient population of the Gourma province.”

According to Burkina Information Agency, three months after her installation, the provincial director in charge of Sport of Gourma, Boualihamou Edwige Lompo/Ouattara, initiated this first edition. The launch aimed to engage all social classes in Fada N’Gourma in sports and recreational activities, which positively impact intellectual, physical, and psychological well-being.
