Nahouri: Four crossing infrastructures were built in the village of Kaya, in the commune of Tiebele, to facilitate the mobility of the population.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the village of Kaya often experiences severe flooding during the winter months, which disrupts travel and daily life for its residents. In response to this challenge, the local community took the initiative to construct their own bridges, resulting in the completion of two crossing infrastructures.
In addition to the community’s efforts, the State provided further support by constructing two more bridges. One of these state-built bridges is strategically located near the market, while the other is positioned on the border with Ghana.
These infrastructural developments are expected to significantly ease the burden on residents by improving connectivity between villages, thereby enhancing both local commerce and travel.
