Addis Ababa, November 3/ 2023 (ENA) Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala has arrived in Addis Ababa this evening for a three day working visit to Ethiopia.
Upon his arrival at the Bole International Airport, Prime Minister Fiala was accorded a warm welcome by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The aim of Prime Minister Fiala’s visit is to further strengthen the strategic bilateral ties and cooperation of Czech Republic with Ethiopia in terms of development and investment among other areas.
Prime Minister Fiala and his delegation will also exchange views with pertinent government officials in the development of mining sector and exchange of cultural cooperation with Ethiopia.
During his visit, Premier Fiala is expected to meet senior government officials and discuss on forging bilateral ties and other common concern issues.
Prime Minister Petr Fiala’s visit is part of his a week-long working visit to sub-Sahara African countries.
Concluding his working visit to Ethiopia, Fiala will continue to the remaining sub-Sahara African countries, namely Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by representatives of leading Czech companies and representatives of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, it was learned.
