Minister Traoré spoke on Monday, September 2, 2024 in Beijing, People’s Republic, during a China-Burkina Faso economic promotion conference, organized by the Embassy of Burkina Faso in China.

This meeting allowed Chinese investors to discover potential areas of investment in Burkina Faso, such as agriculture, health, mining, energy, infrastructure, real estate development, transport, tourism, etc.

The embassy also took the opportunity to present the regulatory framework on investment, the inflation situation, the good degree of commercial openness in Burkina Faso, and the availability of arable land.

For the minister, such a framework augurs well for the future
of economic and commercial relations between Burkina Faso and China.

According to the Burkinabe embassy, ??this conference was initiated with the aim of attracting Chinese investors to Burkina Faso, a country still under construction, said Ambassador Daouda Bitie.

Mr. Bitie also reassured the Chinese side that his country is accessible and frequented, as evidenced by the continuous arrival of businessmen from all walks of life.

He also noted that the youth of his country’s population is a strength for Chinese companies that will set up in Burkina Faso.

On the sidelines of the forum on China-Africa cooperation to be held from September 4 to 6, 2024, a Burkinabe delegation is currently staying in Beijing.
