Burkina: Movement for the Culture of Peace and Love of the Fatherland Donates 5 Tons of Cement

Ouagadougou: On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Peace, the Movement for the Culture of Peace and Love of the Fatherland (MCPAP) offered 5 tons of cement to the presidential initiative Faso Mªbo. “As part of the International Day of Peace, we wanted to make our contribution to the Faso Mªbo presidential initiative for the building of our country,” said the movement’s treasurer, Serge Theophile de la Paix Batiebo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this donation of 5 tons of cement was made possible thanks to funds raised during a charity gala. Serge Theophile de la Paix Batiebo also stressed that in addition to the donation, the members of the movement will lend their physical strength for the construction of the country.

“The Faso Mªbo initiative is a way for every citizen to participate directly in the development of Burkina,” he stressed. Mr. Batiebo called on the entire population to get involved, arguing that “it is an act of patriotism, of love for one’s homeland.”

The Movement for the Culture of Peace and Love of the Fatherland is a non-profit, apolitical association that advocates for citizens to live together, promote peace and love of the fatherland.
