Beijing calls on Africa to work together to build an egalitarian world

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has called on Africa to strive for a multipolar and egalitarian world by opposing the ideas of unilateral hegemony and protectionism. Chinese diplomacy has released an article to this effect ahead of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation to be held this week.

No matter what changes occur on the international scene, the original intention of China and Africa to work together to ensure fairness and justice in the world, on the other hand, will not change, it said.

The minister recalled that in 2023, trade between Beijing and the countries of the continent had reached 282.1 billion dollars. Chinese investments in the African economy amounted to more than 440 billion dollars at the end of last year.
